We spent a week in July at the Marti La Perla. The room was well decorated, very clean (spotless I can say). Most importantly, it HAS AIR CONDITIONING!!
We had enough space to put our luggage and the bathroom was pretty big and spotless too. Icmeler is a lovely resort, and I must admit I much preferred it to Marmaris. There is a good choice of restaurants, it is not too noisy at night and the views are to die for.
Food in the hotel was very good. I must say there was a good choice of dishes every day (cold buffet, stews, grilled meat/fish, fruits and great puddings) . Pool was very good. I thought it was very clean and there was plenty of space to swim or play in the water. If you have children they had a baby pool which was good. Access to the beach is very easy. We managed to have loungers even after 10.30 am in peak season.
All in all, we both thought the Marti la Perla was very good value for money . We would recommend it for couples, and even friends / families. Icmeler is a great resort, not too big, not too small and it has retained turkish charm. Don't be scared if you read some of the reviews that are a bit more negative. All in all, great place, great hotel, great views, would recommend it to friends and family!
